Review: BlueNEXT BN1000 Bluetooth Keyboard

We all know that typing on touch screen devices is not the easiest thing when you have allot to say, this is where a Bluetooth Keyboard may come in handy.

This is my first encounter with a Bluetooth Keyboard let alone a Bluetooth Keyboard for my iOS Devices, but after a few hours with the BlueNEXT BN1000 I can see it would be useful to have around the home.

Setting up the BN1000 is pretty straight forward, you simply pair it to the device you want to use it with and its ready to go. To pair the Keyboard you simply hold the pair button in the top right until the LED starts flashing then follow the instructions on the device you are pairing it with.

If you are pairing the BN1000 with an iPad you would search for bluetooth devices on the iPad, press the pairing button on the BN1000 until the LED starts flashing, when the BN1000 appears in the bluetooth devices list on the iPad, simply tap it and the iPad with give you a four digit code to enter on the keyboard followed by the return button its that easy.

The dimensions on the BlueNEXT BN1000 are pretty much identical to that of an iPhone 4S which is a way makes it the perfect companion.

Charging the BN1000 is very easy via the supplied USB Cable and will be fully charged in just a couple of hours. The battery life is also great with the device lasting days rather than hours.

Conclusion:

I think the BlueNext Bluetooth Keyboard is great value for for money, easy to setup and use. The only slight negative I have with this product is its a little plastic feeling and flexes a little in the hand but its not the end of the world as it helps keeps the product light weight.
